December 26th 2004, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the Indonesian island of Sumatra, triggering a tsunami that killed tens of thousands of people in South Asia communities. Here are some images of the human and environmental devastation left in its wake in Malaysia.

The gigantic Tsunami tidal wave caused the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives, loss of loved ones, causing innocent children and babies became orphans who knew nothing about what actually happened.

Gano Excel took the initiative of performing its social responsibility to the people, especially the victims, by holding a Fund Collection Campaign For Tsunami Victims. The campaign launched since December 2004 was a success as it managed to collect RM50, 000.00 with contributions coming from Gano Excel’s entrepreneurs and its staff. Although the amount of contributions was not much to the victims, but it was hoped that the contribution might bring some relief to the victims. The contribution marked the company’s commitment and obligation as part of caring corporate sector in helping those in need.
