We share our commitment to the environment. Believe in the importance of caring for the earth we live in and encouraging others to participate the same. As a company that relies on tropical weather for ganoderma plantation, it makes good business sense. And as people living in the world, it is simply the right thing to do.
We have taken the 1st Step
As an organisation with responsibilities towards environment, we have adopted the tissue culture and 100% organic method for the cultivation of Ganoderma in our plantation. Recycling paddy husk, brown rice flour and rubber tree scrapes as a medium of plantation. No chemicals, pesticides or hormones are used in the cultivation.
Toward lesser paper packaging consumption
Our packaging boxes have a visible impact on our overall environmental footprint, and our conservation of environment expect better from us. By 2015, our goal is to reduce the use of paper related packaging. We are working towards that direction every day on ways to make that commitment a reality.
Towards 50% paperless administration
Our employees care about recycling too. As an organisation, we are committed to reduce our Administrative paper usage by increasing communication through emails and other electronic transmissions. We are strongly going about this commitment by using recycling paper and control paper waste before another tree is chopped down in the next 10 minutes.
Conserve climate
Researchers indicate that besides the uncertain climate change, plantation regions will be impacted directly by climate change too, it's something we do not take lightly. As a demonstration of commitment in pursue of participating in conserving the climate change, we are working towards a climate change strategy. Including reducing the use of energy and water. We shall plan to upgrade the watering system to fully electronically controlled in the near future. It is time to plan seriously on the system within the next 5 years. The tropical forests climate that surrounds the plantations became our ownership since then.
We are all IN
To achieve our environmental goals it simply means we need collaboration from our partners (employees) and all associated to this business. Our employees are the keepers of our business, while we have Environmental policies and programs in place to encourage environmentally responsible behaviours, at the end of the day, they are the one who will turn off the lights and taps.
Our suppliers play a role too. Over the years, we have encouraged our suppliers to use organic-based ink on our packaging. It is a great way to conserve the resources from land depletion and water contamination. We are still in the journey to fulfill the dreams of our next generation.
Our goal:
To make earth a healthier place to live besides offering health products from the "Miraculous King of Herbs, Ganoderma lucidum".
